笑者
当有人问起我的职业时，我总是觉得很尴尬︰我会脸红，结巴。除了这个，我还算是个自信满满的人。我羡慕那些会跟别人说“我是个砖瓦匠”的人。我羡慕理发师、薄记员以及作家，他们可以很简单地跟大家说明自己的职业，因为所有这些职业都不言而喻，无需冗长的解释，而我在回答这个问题时却非常拘泥∶我是个笑者。这样回答之后还需要引出另外一个问题，因为我需要回答第二个问题:“你靠那个为生?”说实话，的确是。我确实靠笑谋生，并且收入还不错。从商业的角度来讲，我的笑需求量还是挺大的。我是一个优秀的笑者，经验丰富，没有人能笑得比我好，没有人能达到像我对此艺术的掌握的精湛程度。有很长一段时间，为了避免这烦人的解释，我称自己是个演员，但是我在哑剧和演讲方面的才能实在太匮乏，因此我觉得这个称呼与事实太不相符了。我崇尚实事求是，而事实就是我是一名笑者，我既非小丑，也非喜剧演员。我不是要逗人们快乐，我只是将快乐表现出来。
